One should pay notice to Track #3 (True and False Love Words) and Track #10 (Dream Theatre). Track #3 is a "Chinese-style" song and Track #10 is a highly "electronic-style" song. Both styles cannot be founded in Shirley's previous albums. Although Shirley has never (or rarely) sang these kinds of songs before, she handled these 2 songs very well in this album.

This is my FaVe Shirley album. I've had it since it came out and I always bring it out again and listen to it from time to time. I seriously LUVED Track 1, which is a sorta Hi-NRG-ish kind of song, it's very European. And also another fast track on side B of the tape (yup, I had the tape) (= Mebbe it's just that I am totally into high beat music right now, that's why I love the song so much!! For those of you slow jamz lovers, on song on side B which was originally a mandarin song (Mo Jun Dic Oi) gotta be the best slow song on that album.

This album seriously contributes to Shirley's success in the music biz in the couple of years to come after the release of this album. She received many positive reviews of her singing and gained numerous recognitions.....

I just would hope she would come up with a new album soon, I don't think I can wait any longer....

Shirley is tha bomb! <= <=

This album brings out the European feeling in me... with photos and music well representing Europe (in my own point of view)... except for track 3 that is... track 3 happens to be my favorite song from the album besides track 2, 6 and track 10... luv the photos also... Shirley has never been so nice before this album... personally speaking.

I think this CD was the turning point for Shirley. Before this CD, there were not too many believed that Shirley could really sing well, however Shirley was proved that she was able to sing well by this CD. Although this was not the best CD of Shirley(in my own opinion), it surprised me the most. This CD showed me that Shirley was no longer an idol, but a professional singer. I am very glad that I have this CD, and hopefully Shirley'll continues to do well.

Among Shirley's albums I like the The Story of Shirley, I thing in this album my favour song is Track 3 and Track 11, because both are slow songs.
